Talk about exhilaration! I' m gonna agree with Bobcat on this one....
This happened to me and the hubby one night. We' re coming thru construction on the highway at 50 mph (over the limit[:' (]) and suddenly there' s a buck with a huge rack just standing there. Somehow we swerved and missed the deer and the concrete barriers! I looked in the mirror and the deer was still standing there. We had to pull off the highway just to calm down. I can' t believe we missed the deer! Anyway, since we have a truck now hubby and I have agreed that if we have a choice we will hit the deer. I have heard so many stories of people swerving to miss deer and other animals and then crashing and killing themselves and/or other people. I' ll take my chances, the roads here are more dangerous if you leave them.
