Sprig, The moon was bright enough that I was leaving shadows walking in.

Yup ten foot G2' s. I' m learning to exaggerate from Buck magnet.[&:]

Being still is the most important thing. Of course the wind matters too....

I agree about the fact movement spooks a deer. We were hunting from the ground with no blind on Saturday evening and a 10 point walked out from a thicket 15 yards from us. He never noticed mywife who was diagnol from him and he didnt get spooked till he caught me drawing back on my bow.

Since it first came out, I' ve felt that the UV Killer' s were a sham. When I first saw it at an outdoor show, the saleman was telling me how much brighteners there was in laundry detergent--I asked him how much brighteners there was in the baking soda I used in it' s place! He had no answer for that. These days, I' m using unscented laundry detergent which probably has brighteners, but I had a buck look right at me a couple days ago--at close range--and then decide I wasn' t a threat. He was only right because he was smaller than I wanted.
