toboggan: knit cap you can pull over your noggin to keep you warm and from losing all the heat out of your head, i.e., Chuck Adams is often pictured wearing one.

extra clothes just incase it gets chilly.
also take a set of small bungee cords with me use em to hook stuff to my stand for easy access i.e. rattle bag ,calls,backpack..... hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle (to help track a tough blood trail) toilet paper (also to track)
Number ONE Safety Harness
the line and fish hook in a film canister is a life saver too incase ya drop something

I carry in a pretty loaded backpack.
rope
gloves
flashlight
range finders
many combinations of gloves, hats, face shields
binocs
extra handwarmers (it was 10 degrees this morning)
extra clothes
knives
leatherman
inside the backpack, I have a fanny pack with the essentials.
scent
smaller flashlight
turkey calls
bow rope
grunt call
doe bleat call
knife
and most importantly, safety harness
I get to my stand, and everything I need immidietly is in the fanny pack.
I' m sure I' m forgetting an item or two, but thats about it. Works well for me.

I picked up a " gear holder" that straps around the tree trunk this season. It has three adjustable hooks that you can hang your backpack, binoculars, etc... from. I have found this invaluable when I need to grab something and don' t want to have to dig around my backpack for it.

I take a Heavy Pack into the woods, but I never don' t have something I want... It' s got the usual, + Range Finder, Can Call, Grunter, Rattle Bag, BIG Mag Light for tracking, 3 knives, Hand Warmers, Gloves, hats, Video Camera, Rope, Limb Saw, Bright Eyes, Orange flag, Binos, Tree Shelf!! Which my buddies make fun of me for.. But it works very well... Radios... EZ Hang screw in' s for hanging Bow, ect... That' s all I can think of right now, but I am sure there' s more in that thing...
