Cabelas Lazerstrike results
I shot a buck yesterday with the Lazerstrike. It is the second deer I have shot with them. These 2 animals are my only experiences with mech. heads. The doe went about 50yrds and crashed. Awesome blood trail.
The buck went about 60yrds and I have never been on a similar blood trail. At times the deer was shooting blood out either side up to 4' . I actually started following the " shootouts" twice because I thought he had turned. Where the deer died it looked like I had dumped a 5 gallon bucket down the hillside. Unbeleiveable.
Both shots were centerpunches through the lungs, passthroughs with the arrow stuck in the ground. I am shooting a Q2 and getting 61# ft-lbs of energy.
My buddy that operates an outfitter business helped me drag the buck out and he even committed that he had never seen a blood trail like this and this guy is a fanatic. I would hate to even guess how many deer this guy has trailed.
Photos and story of the buck to follow.

Anyone else tried these heads this year....I think I am a " lifer" at least until Cabelas quits carrying them for some reason...I will then just use the Sidewinders.

I personally never used them, but I am considering them for next year, when I am seriously thinking about hunting in a more " suburban" setting where I will want short trails, or deer down within sight. I do know two guys who swear by the Sidewinders, these heads just save you $4 on each pack.
