I do on a rare occasion spend a whole day in a single stand, but even then I will get up every once in a while to loosen up all the old joints that get tight, usually though I will get on stand about 45 minutes to an hour before sunup and stay there for 3-4 hours, depending upon the weather and what else I have seen I may head home or stalk/scout out an area I haven' t checked out yet, I try to get in an evening stand 3 hours before sundown and stay until dark. I pee where ever and when ever, if I am scouting/stalking I will pee in any scrape I find. I usually take something nutricious to snack on like glazed cinnamon pop tarts and water or coffee. I always take TP, having TP on your person will cause constipation, without TP you will have diarhea!

I agree with David. During the heat of the rut I think some of you non all day hunters would be amazed at the activity that can and does occur at midday.

If you are close to doe bedding areas it can be very good hunting - and I will be sitting all day for a bunch of days in the next week or two
