just curious here is a great link w/ all the new york records, if you notice both the gun typ and non typ were taken in the same year and same county, 1939! odd huh!

so how do you get to vestal again?? ill be right out! maybe we can swap, you can hunt here w/ me and i will hunt w/ you! my buddys have a cam tracker of a 14 pter and 9 bucks in a one mile thicket!

When I was in college at SUNYA - I did my thesis work (1990) in the Scrub oaks of the Pine Bush. You ever hunt there? I think its BOW ONLY (Albany County) - but boy were there some nice bucks there. I never actually hunted it - but was under the impression that permission was not hard to come by out near Guilderland.

It gets hard to keep up to the state record books. For example , a kid recently shot a huge 8pt that is supposed to be the biggest 8pt taken in Wisconsin. It has a 27" spread! Here' s a pic
