chuck adams does it again
i don' t know if anyone hear this yet but in the latest edition of north american hunter there is a small article stating that chuck adams has beat his own world record ! here' s the story as it reads: Longtime north american hunter " Bowhunting" columnist Chuck Adams mnight have done the unthinkable:arrow an elk larger than his own current world record typical bull from 2000!
In a recent phone conversation with Chuck,he told NAH the huge 6x6 Montana bull he shot September 24 green-scores about 423(gross)and 412 (net) Pope and Young Club points." keep in mind this isn' t an offical score," he said. " But I' ve measured a lot of bulls, and I' m confident that after the 60-day drying period, this bull could very well top my current record of 409 2/8 ."
Chuck saw the bull for the first time a few days before shooting him." i was more than a week into my hunt," Chuck said." Ihadn' t found a good bull up to that point,and then i spotted this guy in the dark timber.I couldn' t believe what i was seeing,i mean....I was so sure the bull I shot in 2000 would be the biggest one I' d ever lay eyes on. But this bull has an inside spread of nearly 60 inches! I still can' t believe it."

That' s amazing!!! To get a shot at one animal like that is a once in a lifetime opportunity but to get crack at two is just unbeilevable. I' m going to stop after work and pick up the new N.A.W.. Did you hear about the kid here in Iowa that shot the new world record whitetail?
