some 30 lb. test fishing line across a couple of trees where the 4 wheeler seems to travel. hang it about neckish high. A pit bull patrolling the property. roofing nails indeed. These have worked for me in the past. If all else fails a good slap to the jaw may work.

Go with the spider wire, Less diameter, more strength. Like Hogans' advessary Klink would say head' s will roll. Also if you go wityh the roofers don' t get them too long as they won' t stand upright, they' ll just lay there. 1 1/4' s should be about right, wouldn' t go longer than 1 1/2 . Don' t put them through any boards or any thing other wise it' ll look premeditated. Maybe use some rusty ones, they' ll be camoflaged and you can say they' ve been there for years.

Not much you can do. Just try not to piss to many people off. Get to know the neighbors. The neighbors will keep an i out for you and over time you' ll find out who they are. Even when you do, it will still be more hassle than it is worth to press charges. Then you have to worry about the people trying to get back at you. You can only hope someday the tresspassers will GROW UP and have a little respect. Or just let it go. Thats what i do.

Good luck,

eddie

Last turkey season we had 2 men and a woman, who broke into a abandon house on our property. My father- in-law caught them stealing stuff out of the house. They said they were just looking around. He told them to leave and not come back. They came back alright the next morning and burned the house down! These folks are nuts, they laugh at the law! They intimidate people to the point that they are scared to come out of there house. A friend of mines father purchased 2500 acres plantation down in Mississippi, they spent 10 years getting people off their property. My buddy drove around the property armed to the hilt, He looked like he was going to war! He could' nt hunt for a few years because he was to busy running people off, now the only issues they have are hunters letting dogs run deer off their property, I have a feeling a few dogs are going to come up missing this year. I see you have 2 ways of dealing with people like this, you can fight them or give in to their intimidation. If your not up to the fight to the end, you might as well give them permission to hunt and save yourself alot of trouble.

Tresspassers will be shot!
Survivors will be prosecuted!

ARMallardSlayer said it man. It' s the only thing you can do. Since some people have a severe lack of ethics when it comes to hunting, even that won' t deter all of them.[:@]
