Hey Wilk. I spent openeing week at Black Moshanon state forrest hunting. It was awful. We only saw 8 deer out of stands the whole week out of 4 guys. We saw more deer eating off of peoples lawns. Had to be due to lack of nuts. Far cry from the 280+ we saw 2 years ago. Did so lot more bucks however this year. Maybe next year will be better.[:' (]

Bah humbug and fiddlesticks.
Hunted that farm in Fulton county thursday night, all day friday, and saturday morning, and maybe saw a total of 6 deer, with not a single buck.

Red taggers took 20 off the farm, all does of course, so they seem to be really nervous not coming into the fields until right at or just after dark, not leaving me much good shooting time.
Back in Huntingdon county now and gonna try for the decent sized guy I saw a couple weeks ago, I think I will let that farm simmer until after gun season maybe take the flintlock down there in late season for some snowy cold weather hunting.
