Does all day hunting work during warm weather?

Does all day hunting work during warm weather?
I am wondering if it would help to stay out all day this saturday (11-01-03). I have a feeling that I might not see anything even though the rut is in, but it just hasn' t been as cold as I think the deer prefer here in Ohio. Any suggestions?

I' m thinking that if I hunted all day in warm weather, I might hunt near a water hole. Sometimes during the midday, I think the deer will come to water.

if the bucks are after the does, or if you can find a HOT scrape, I garuntee all day huntin is worth it.
I found a HOT scrape one mornin about 10:00 it stunk of urine, the buck must have visited that scrape early that mornin. I took off to get my stand which was about 150yds from the scrape. I was goin to set up on that scrape, but when I got about 50yds from it, there stood a huge 8 point in an old tram road. he was only about 40-50 yds from that scrape headed right to it. if I had gotten there 30 minutes earlier, I would have gotten a shot at that big joker.
oh yea, it was 11:00 and 90 degrees and humid that day. so yes, durin the rut they will move no matter how hot it is.

I have always heard stories about most big bucks being killed midday, especially in the rut. I didnt buy into this( I am 22), until a couple of years ago during hunting season. It was unseasonally warm, around 65-70 so I was basking in the sunny weather at around 11 AM fooling around with my grunter waiting for my brother to fill our last tag. I remember thinking to myself, no way is a buck going to come out during this time, let alone on a beautiful sunny day like this. Then, I see an 8 ptr just meandering in front of me...he is now on my wall
