I read somewhere on this forum that New York State is considering making the archery season two weeks longer. What is the low down on this? Does anybody know anything about it?

ill look into it my friends a dec officer! im in bow only zone 4j so it wont affect me, i wish they would extend the season till feburary!

The rumors were in the summer that the southern zone would maybe open Oct 1st - I never found where it was a " done deal" - even for 2004.

Kind of like the rifles in southern zone, and Mandatory Hunter orange - rumors.
I tend to think there is some truth in there somewhere -

oct 1 thats great i just hit my dec guy on the 2 way and he hasnt heard anything but is investegating it! ill get right back if i hear something! is this l.i. only??
