Just curious, but I' ve been hunting our 200+ acres for the last month pretty steady and here is approximately what I' ve seen so far:
3 spikes
2 forks
2 six points
6 2.5 year old eight points
1 3.5 year old 9 point
1 4.5 year old 10 point
1 5.5-6.5 year old 12+ point
maybe 12 different does. This includes fawns as well.
just wondering if this is bad? In the stand that I' ve been sitting in for the last two weeks I' ve seen only one doe, this includes all of my cam pics as well.

For an area that I' m sure hasn' t been managed for quality bucks and is most likely surrounded by property where other people are hunting, that sounds about right to me.
I' ve seen 2 bucks over 1.5 years old on the land I' m hunting, and we haven' t been shooting anything less than 2.5 year old 8 pointers for the past 4 years. Trouble is, everyone else on the surrounding properties shoot at anything that moves.![Frown](https://www.huntingnet.com/forum/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Hang in there though - the rut is coming up quick. Just wait and see what shows up then. Every year I see at least 2-3 big bucks that I' ve never seen before. It' s like magic.

JZarr,
we' ve been managing this property for the last eight years or so. There are basically only two of us that hunt there. Our policy has been that if you' re going to shoot it you' d better be mounting it. Last year we had a pile of does and this year they seem to have disappeared. One of our neighbors killed a nice buck last year.

thats kill me when a guy sees a deer and guesses its age. i dunno maybe im missing the boat here, but how do you know thier ages? did you stop them on thier way through tthe field and ask them for identification?
whoa whoa whoa there mr, you boys need to slow down in this section of the woods. we have had too many collision near these trees. hey you over there with the felt still on your antlers, are you old enough to be in this area? you kow you have to be atleast 2 years old before you can eat acorns, and this is an acorn only zone. let me see some ID pal. in fact, i want to see ID from everyone. i dont care how big you are.![Big Grin](https://www.huntingnet.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
just kidding, but seriously, how can you tell the age?

That sounds good to me- lots of bucks![Big Grin](https://www.huntingnet.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
With no disrespect to either your hunting ability or your camtracking ability i think its safe to double any buck sightings, or even triple them. Especially those upper age class bucks.

rack, that' s a fair assumption. I' ve seen a lot of these different bucks on numerous occasions.
two twins are both about 17" wide.
two are very similar the the wide ones, but are only about 15"
one buck is about 15" but has a very short G2 on his right side
one has really light colored antlers
one has a broken G2 on his right side
one is considerably larger than the other eights mentioned, has longer G2' s and longer beams, as well as light colored antlers. He could be an older buck.
