Johnny, the big buck busted me, he seen me move and was glued on watching me.
I am not a " trophy" hunter. I would love to have shot that big dude, but I knew there wasnt a chance of it after he spotted me. I may still have a chance at him, but gotta move my stand so he dont know where I am now.
Thanks everybody. Still kinda hard to wear a hat today, with my head being so swollen from last night. Im headed back out in a few minutes. I had 2 does at 8 FEET this morning, when I was sitting on the ground. They came down the run I didnt see in the dark. [:' (] Oh well, I' ll keep ya posted.

Fantastic Kip! Sure is a handsome fellow. (The deer, that is.) I' m with you, brother. Big bucks be darned, I' m thankful for and would take the best shot at whichever deer is presented. Glad to see you guys " re" -discovering the excitement of hunting with simple bows.
