Got my western PA buck...
This season hasn' t been that good for me... sat in several stands and never saw a deer until tonight... luckily it was this one!
What' s really funny about this is that I actually forgot my Scent-Loc suit and had to make do with plain old regular camo and homemade scent killer... it did the trick! Also, I just bought a brand new Summit Cobra on my lunch break today, I was looking forward to trying it out this weekend but now my season' s done and I haven' t even strapped it to a tree yet! Oh well, maybe next year!

Very nice buck! I' m hoping to see one just like that this Saturday. [:-]
and who says you have to quit " Hunting" ? take that new stand one of these days and just go try it out and sit in one of your spots to see what comes by.

RE: Got my western PA buck...
I almost passed him up. From the side the rack didn' t look big except for the tine length, but he did look better from the front. There' s supposed to be a ' big one' back where I hunt, but those that have seen it are non-hunters so I never got a really good description of him. There were a few 4" plus diameter trees rubbed really good, I' m not sure if a buck this size would tackle a tree like that or not. I didn' t get to do much scouting this year, and since I haven' t actually SEEN all the bucks that live back there, I' m not sure if he' s the big one or not. Next year I' ll have to become more familiar with the individual bucks so I' ll know better as to what to go after!
