RE: Fletching my own arrows?
I use a bitzenburger jig also. I clean my shafts with plain old ajax. I fletch my 4 inch feathers with fletching tape. there is no cure time and i can fletch my arrows very quickly. i place a drop of glue at the front and rear of the feather only. to remove fletch, use an old dull knife. to remove adhesive, simply rub with finger into small removable wads. very simple and virtually mess free. i have had absolutely no problems with the fletch tape. i have shot an old arrow thru a 55 gallon drum and the fletches were still on. hope this helps. i fletch with 2 blue and 1 white feather.

RE: Fletching my own arrows?
if your gonna get a jo jan get the multi ,ytou can do six arrows in no time ,and i' ve had mine for years and it still works just as good as the day it came out of the box , make sure you get accetone too , it should clean up the super glue fthat you' ll use on carbons , i only use aluminum but i use the accetone to clean the shafts first , if your arrows have unibushings don' t get any accetone on em it might melt the glue ! good luck!
