I shot a grizzly last night!!! (NEW PICS PAGE 3)
What a rush! I gotta be honost though, I didn' t shoot him with the bow, or with a rifle for that matter. They made my hunting area drawing for grizzlies, and I have yet to draw a tag, so now I just go out and play with them. I got a new digital camcorder and chased after this grizzly. I got within 25 yards, and took a bunch of photos and video of him. My camcorder is also a digital camera using a memory stick that I can plug into the computer, so I downloaded a picture of him this morning to show you. Sure wish I had a permit, I' d have this guy skinned out and salted down by now.
What a rush though stalking up on him, especially without any type of weapon, just me and my camcorder. I plan to go out and play with the musk ox tonight. I' ll be sure to post pictures.

Great photo, but are you nuts? No weapon at all. Not any bear spray? Nothing??? I basically have no experience with grizzlies. I' ll say that right off, but I can' t imagine the scenario you just told us about is recommended if a guy wants to stay amongst the living and/or the un-maimed.......
I mean Arctic Bow Man great pictures. If that was me talking those pictures they would be a little blury.

Carry Bear spray, one of the best brands is called " Body Guard" Comes in nice big one pound cans for crowd controll and big scary bears.
