Scent-Free Laundry List

RE: Scent-Free Laundry List
i remember back in the day when we didn' t have any of this odor eliminating stuff, and worried about which way the wind was blowing , and if you' re gonna start washing your release , then like cbm said scent free seat covers for the truck and where does it end? don' t forget they do make odor masking/eliminating sprays and cover scents not to mention carbon suits and liners etc. just so you don' t have to wash you release etc. next someone will throw their bow in the washing machine , i mean how far is too far??i' m not saying your wrong in going thru all that but is it it really necessary ?

Bob, I understand completely.
Jersey, very good points. I guess I didn' t think too much about that sort of thing....most of my areas have active gas wells handy and the smell is everpresent. I have an old watch that has since had the band removed. I keep in in a handy pocket. You are right about the smell on those bands though, leather, cordura, and even plastic bands hold a lot of scent especially if you wear it too tight!
XI, I' m aware of the products and discussed using them above. I don' t rightly know if it' s all necessary, but I' m confident that it doesn' t hurt. Maybe I go too far, but I get a little more confidence knowing that I took the initiative to try and contain/eliminate my scent. BTW, even with all of the stuff I do I still hunt based on the wind....however wind does sometimes swirl and change direction when on stand. Also thermals will carry scent up hill in the morning and down hill in the evening. All in all I try to cover those situations with all this scent elimination stuff.
