I LOOK WHERE DEER ARE CROSSING A FENCE . LOOK FOR A LOW PLACE . HAIR ON THE FENCE,ETC.THEN I WILL HANG A STAND OR PICK A GOOD TREE TO CLIMB
10 TO 15 YARDS OFF THE CROSSING.

It' s really important,so is in season scouting.
Finding travel routes and food sources ,bedding area' s. And also spotting fields at night to see if any big boys are around.
It puts venison in the freezer.
