RE: Does anybody hunt with a Hoyt Hypertec?
No, not personally, but I am relatively good friends with a gentleman that I sold one to last year. He took a nice buck and doe with it last season. I tuned it up for him this season and he did not report having any problems with the bow.
My only " complaint" , if you want to call it that, with the design is that last year' s model was a relatively short bow at 33 inches axle to axle with only a 6 inch brace height. That makes it very critical to shoot for most of the average bowhunters out there. Judging by your comments though I would say that it does not pose a problem for you.
Good luck with it this season.

Great bow but like Frank mentioned....good form is a must, a tricky little bow for sure but it sure generates some high KE....practice and you' ll have no problem....I still opt for my 2001 VorTec over all Hoyt' s bow, new and old...but that little HavocTec is impressive.
