Default First bow (Bear Encounter) advice on accessories?

I've never bow hunted in my life but I'm diving in this year and decided on the Bear Encounter package from here:

http://www.huntersfriend.com/2012_Be...nexpensive.htm

The package comes with:

sight: apex accustrike 4 pin OR trophy ridge alpha 1 sight
peep: RAD trio string peep
rest: whisker biscuit OR trophy ridge revolution
shafts: 6 custom carbon arrows (vanes or feathers) OR XX75 aluminum
broadheads: trophy ridge bunker busters
release: tru-fire patriot caliper
wrist sling: hi tek camo rope sling /w grommet
quiver: q5 ultra-lite
stabilizer: octane s5 ultra-lite

I'm wondering which accessories that come with that package are good or which I should swap out. For one, I'm thinking of getting the $60 Apache rest instead of the whisker biscuit or trophy ridge revolution. I've read good things about it, but being a complete novice would the whisker biscuit be better to start with?

I'm also undecided on sights and if there is a large difference between stabilizers? What else should I consider upgrading from that package? When choosing the bow I read a lot of advice on getting a used bow instead but I would feel more comfortable with a lifetime warranty for my first bow, and price wise it came down to the Brute X, Stinger 3G and the Encounter which I settled on after reading many positive reviews.

Thanks for any input and advice.

I got a similar bear package last year. I used the whisker biscuit but recently had the revolution installed and love it! I had no problems with the biscuit except for the fact that its always in contact with your arrows which very mildy slows your arrow. I also shoot a ton so I could see wear and tear on my fletchings. As far as other accessories, all I did was add limb savers, monkey tails, and a string stop. Also get some serving put on your string where your string stop comes in contact so it won't wear your string.

Love my Encounter. And I have had a WB on all my bow so I just stuck with it. Only change that I have done is string silencers, and an 8" B-Stinger Pro Hunter Stablizer, instead of the Trophy Ridge it came with.

If you plan on doing lots of changes, why not just by a bare bow and then add when you want?

My package (Which wasnt quite as nice as that one) Was only $400, but it didnt come with arrows/broadheads.
