Default BIG BUCK PICS,,,, POSSIBLY A 200" WHITE DEER!!!!!

Hey guys,

I went to a local deer ranch this past weekend and checked out some of the deer they had and I took lots of pics. I figured that these would get a bunch of guys pumped up. They may be in a large fenced in area and they can' t be hunted, but, they are still big bucks

What do you think these bad boys would score????

This white deer has a live weight of 300 pounds, yes, 300 pound Pennsylvania deer!!!!!!!

Those are some big racks. I' ve been stopping at a local deer farm all summer to watch the progression of the antler growth. Kind of neat to see and man do the look huge in velvet. Hopefully I' ll get to see it coming off also!

Good Luck!

Not sure if it is just me .. but seeing whitetail deer, especially big mature bucks, sitting in small pens like that depresses the hell out of me.

I am not opposed to deer farms. Just hate to think of whitetails in the same way I think of domesticated cows.

JasonN,

They sure are. I havn' t been up there for about 8 years, and my best friend has never been there. So, this past weekend, we decided to go up there.

A 300 pound deer is impressive because it isn' t something that you see every day. Even if it is in captivity, it is still a huge buck.

They have a 20 year old doe there. Is that not impressive?

I would rather see these deer out in the woods, but they aren' t, so why not just enjoy seeing them?

The place is neat. I especially like the antler porgression on the inside walls. If you have kids around in the spring you can take them up there and they will let you/kids bottle feed the fawns. I grew up not too far from Cook Forest and spent a lot of time in the forest. I used to work at one of the canoe rentals there.

If you walk around to the back corner of the large enclosure and look in to a couple of hardwoods with a pine growing right in front of them you will see a treestand....that' s my old boss' s stand from before the property was bought and turned into an enclosure!
