Default Lokking for a Scent Suit???

Hey guys,

I am looking for a scent suit. As every one is, I am wanting a reasonable priced set. Also I want something I can use all season long. You know, something I can wear when it is warm, and something I can wear under my other hunting clothes. I know nothing about any specific brands so I would like opinions on some different ones.

Thanks

For around $350 you can get the Mt050 scent loc goretex suit from Cabelas. I highly recommend it. Water proof wind proof and scent loc. It is thin enough to layer over it in cold weather as well. I am not talking about the mt050 whitetail extreme, just the regular mt050.

You might want to check out LL Bean' s Supprescent coveralls($229). Supprescent is W.L. Gore' s (the same co that makes Goretex) entry into the scent control arena. Supposedly, supprescent doesn' t wear out like the other scent control clothing(scent lok etc.), so you don' t need to worry about replacing it every couple of years.

Bean' s also has a gore-tex/supprescent parka and rain pants, but that' s a bit more $$ ($349 for both)and if you already have rain gear you can just wear the coveralls underneath.

Or get the scent lok liner coverall (non-camo) and wear it under your favorite seasonal camo for $140 in Cabelas...

Hunting the wind is free and a time tested true way of being successful hunting whitetail deer.
