Thanks for the info on which limbs to go with. I went with the xt2000 limbs on an 03 magnatec cam 1/2 with 60 to 70# draw. This is one sweet shootin bow. I bought it from Acorn Archery in New Castle PA. They set it all up paper tuned it with all my accessories on it. They were very help full. This is by far the easiest bow I have ever sighted in. I fine tuned my sights and I was nailing 10x' s one after another with in 10 minutes. I shot it through the chronograph at his shop after he set it up. Set at 65lbs it is shooting 269fps!!!! That is with a whisker biscuit string leaches, kisser, loop nock and a super peep!! I could not be more impressed with this bow. He did add 3 nock sets to the cable by the lower cam and put shrink wrap over them kinda like the accelerator balls. One complaint though. I thought all of the " tec" bows came with the limb savers from the factory. Mine didnt not have them though. Is this common with the magnatecs? Thanks again!!!! Great advice!!!!

The MagnaTec and MT Sport do not come with Limbsavers. You gotta spend the big bucks before they kick in those doodads. I' d go ahead and get some though. They do make a world of difference.

You made a good choice. Ive had my magnatec for 3 years now. Good bow for the money especially with the xt2000 limbs. I wish I had the cam 1/2 though. Good luck with the bow. Mine did come with the limbsavers but not the string leeches though.

Your welcome. The Magnatec is one great bow and coupled with the XT2000 limbs.....so sweet. I' ve always said the Mag shoots apple to apples with the higher end TEC bows.....
Arthurs right.....go ahead and get the limb savers anyway, you' ll be happy you did. Good luck this season, sounds like you have a great start.........practice, break it in, check it again and post those deer pictures.
