Toughest replaceable blade heads I have ever tried...best penetrating as well. Oh yeah, they hit the same spot as my field points EVERY time.
Gonna have to try the 125 this year
5 shot....any plans to test the new 125 head???

Yes I do plan to test the 125' s. The slick tricks are an excellent head, great accuracy and good strength. The blades are tough and the overall head is very compact. This is the fixed blade broadhead that flys most like field point, at least of the ones that I have tested. The 125' s are the same overall size and shape, just beefier(is that a word?) at the front). I exspect them to do just as well as the 100' s.

Before you pull the trigger on them, use the search feature. There were some on here who had deflection issues with them on quartering shots. Had some pics to illustrate. Personally, I wouldn' t hunt with them after reading of those problems. The sharp blade angle caused them to ride the rib cage in more than one senerio. Since they are so accurate, I' d buy some for leagues if they made a 75 with a 1 1/8 th cut.

I also saw some of the same reports on Muzzy heads. These 2 are about as opposite as can be (Muzzy, very long, ST very short).
I was one of those who had a problem with the Slick Tricks, and eventually came to the conclusion that another head would have likely deflected MORE..the ST simply kept going along it' s path (That just happened to be alongside a deer' s ribs).
With the blades at such a sharp (comparitively speaking) angle, if anything, they should deflect INTO the target, not away.
I DO trust these heads, and will use the 125s this year....unless they can' t be found...then I might try the Montec from G5.
