made me laugh
Well opening day of PA archery season was saturday. my friend called me today and told me he didnt know where to hunt in his game lands. well i live 5 hours away from him and i told him send me a map and show me where u hunted on saturday. well i was looking at the map and i see fields on the map in the gamelands i call my friend and ask him what is planted in the field and he told i looked but i really dont know so i told him alright ill call the gamelands they should be able to tell me. So i call the regional office close to him that included his gamelands. a man answers and i tell him the situation and i ask him what is planted in the fields. He pauses and then with emotion in his voice goes why would you ever want to know what is planted in the fields. This caught me off guard and kinda made me laugh after all this is the PA game commission which is supposed to manage the PA deer herd and understand deer and pa wildlife. i said is that a serious question and he didnt say anything so i then asked him if he hunted and he then said yes. i asked him if he archery hunted and he told me yes. so i said well if i know what is planted in the fields it will help me know if they r feeding in the fields or bedding in them or ext. he then told me well i dont know what is planted in them and i dont know if or how we could or would tell u. so then this kinda pi**ed me off and i started this is public ground and u are a government funded agency and if i want to know what is planted in the field i have the right to know. he told well the only way u could find out is if looked in the fields or talked to the cover and food department for that state game lands. i said well i already told u i live 5 hours away that is not possible for me. i need their telephone number and the guy told me i dont have it and i dont know where u can get it can i help u with anything else and i said know but what is ur name sir. he told me then we ended the conversation. looks like i got another phone call to make... but it kinda made me laugh
