Scout, scout, scout....

Is it hot & dry? Find a water source.

Find a lush food source.

Look for funnel spots...anywhere that the contour or layout of the land naturally pushes deer to through a narrower travel area...acts as a natural "funnel".

It has been hot up here lately and the acorns have been falling like crazy so there is no reason for the deer to leave the creek bottoms, therefore i have been sticking to bottle necks in the bottoms.
