walk walk walk... find the most abundant sign where there are deer. finding big woods sign can be tough... but you need to find that "spot" where there is more sign than normal.
Sit dark to dark during the rut...

TONS of good advice in this thread. Thanks guys! Find the sign, find the deer. The biggest buck I've killed to date was cruising the side of a small ridge where three hollows came together. I guess the best way to explain is that it is a central hub where several travel corridors met each other. Stand placement is crucial in big woods hunting.

thx yall already have a few good spots in mind along some swamps and ridges just have to wait till july to go get eyes on and start hanging stands!
