RE: wrist sling?
Stopped using one 20 years ago. Just too dangerous for me.
I teach a method of shooting that allows my students the freedom of excellent control without using a sling. My coach, Russian Olympic Gold Medal Coach Alexander Kirillov, just couldn' t believe how effectively I could shoot without using one until he reviewed the videotape of me shooting.
Once you learn how to NOT use one, most wonder why they ever used one.

I don' t use one. Its a safety thing with me while in a stand so I don' t use one anytime. God forbid I fall, I don' t want to fall on it..especially the broadheads or an arrow.

I have gone back and forth with a sling, right now I am back to sling on my new bow. I actually prefer no sling when hunting, but my groups are better with it on so it is staying until I get a feel for the new bow.
