Tick Defense
Here is a good idea that a friend showed me when I hunted in VA. When you get back to your truck or cabin, take a lint roller adn roll it over your clothing, it removed every tick that was crawling on me. It really works well.
Just a tip to help keep you healthy, Pat

RE: Tick Defense
Pat_Ely,
Thats a good little trick. I was out for a joy ride on the 4-wheeler the other day and when i got back, i had 4 ticks on my pant legs. I picked them off by hand and put them on a piece of tape, but the lint roller sounds like a good idea.
ACK! I hate ticks. My uncle was diagnosed w/ Lyme disease a few years ago. After treatment, he' s only about 80% better than his worst symptoms. I' m really wary of ticks now. Having a Black Lab that likes to romp around in the field I check him constantly, quite annoying!
Good luck out there,
