Actually I need one as a backup. I don' t hunt private land, and will sometimes leave it in the woods (hidden) on my furthest groups of stands. I have had over 15 fixed stands stolen on me over the years, so I figured a backup is a good idea

How many stands do you have? Think I have about 8, with that many more to choose from.[:-]

I' ve got 6 stands myself. Put them up in late Spring or early Summer.
I think the large amount of aluminum in the trees explains why so much lightning strikes on the hill I own.
