RE: I just got my NEW MQ1 yesterday(no smoke)
Pretty quick with the nasty reply eh bogobble?
Read my post!! " Somebody somewhere is blowin smoke! Followed by a link to Mathews own website. Hell, heres what their website says...
The bows in this section are discontinued bows and we do not offer them anymore. This section is for reference only.
MQ1
An all around workhorse that features Parallel Limb design.
Tens of thousands of bowhunters experienced the breakthrough performance of the MQ1. It shook the archery world for good reasons... StraightLine MaxCam, speed, accuracy and minimal recoil. This bow was built to meet the highest benchmark of quality.
The MQ1 is a discontinued model. This information is for reference only.
Now wouldn' t you say that if they still sell them , the person or persons in charge of the " discontinued bows" section of their website is " blowin smoke" !
So who' s thick headed???
Enjoy your bow! It doesn' t really matter either way. You' ve got an awesome bow for a great price.

He toted his mathews, down the trail to his stand.
having already been scouting, he knew the land.
he knew the path, which the big buck would follow
it was just out of, the big deep hollow(what we call gulleys in the south yank' s)
There comes the deer, right on time
this one is big, a nice sized nine
he draws the bow and lets the arrow sail
a little to the right, but hey oh well
he climbs outta the stand to trail his buck
only to find he' s out of luck
darkness is coming and he' s still a searchin
he knows he could' ve avoided this, if he' d just bought a Martin.
LOL.. good job on your bow man, just had to rag on you a little bit.. GOOD LUCK!

I picked up a 3 year old MQ1 at a Mathews dealer. Bow has never been shot, and what do ya know - it was my draw length! I got it for $299 - Couldn' t pass it up. It gave the wife some more ammo - but I just bought her a new bow which cost $400. Amazing how things turn out sometimes.

Yeah! He' s blowing smoke up your arse and finding you a 2002 MQ1 leftover
that' s ok though, all I was tryin to do was prove my point. that Mr Joe Ellis, the
guy at the proshop was being honest. I think I' ve done that.
