RE: what broadheads do you use
Bobcat,
I use the Spitfire 125' s. My brothers use Rocky Mountain Snyper 100' s and Thunderhead 100' s. The Spitfires and the Snypers shoot just like our field tips, so there' s no need for adjustments.

Muzzy 100 gr 3 blade. I am switching to 100gr Magnus Stingers(with bleeder blades) 4 blades in total, basically for elk. My personal tests indicate these should be an excellent head for all game I hunt, out performing my Muzzys in penetration and sharpness, while remaining to group with my FP and providing excellent flight. Lifetime warranty from magnus also breeds some confidence in the product as well. I have used magnus 2 blades previously and was always pleased with the results, so I can highly suggest their products are quality. The Muzzy and TH have also performed well for me in the past on deer and bear. My main reason for switching is to have one head to hunt the entire fall without switching or comprimise, I know lofty goal but I must at least try. I am starting out on an Elk hunt, then wt & mule deer, with little time to tinker in between.
