On my bow the 40 yard pin is dead on at 4 yards. Like others have said, it varies according to your set-up.

I just take the top pin in my case the 20 and aim a little lower on your target. Of course you will have to practice this at a target to know exactly how much lower to aim your top pin at 10. With my set up a 10 yard shot means only aiming a couple inches lower on my target. In the heat of the moment the last thing I want to be thinking about is man am I looking down my 30 or 40 yard sight pin. Whatever technique you use just make sure it comes to you like second nature. IMO
