Default Bow Advice

I am starting bow hunting and I'm not sure which bow to get. Near me there is a used 03 Mathews Conquest Light, a Hoyt 38 ultra, a Mathews Black Max, and a Mathews Phase ii(not sure what this one is). I was also thinking about a new Bear Strike package because I keep reading about how that's the most bang for your buck in 2010. Please give some advice for a new bowhunter. Or if there is a different kind of bow say that too.

I upgraded last year from a Jennings Buckmaster (cant remember the exact model, but it was the older one) to a Fred Bear Element, and was very pleased. The only thing that I wish is that I had the 60# 70# instead of the 50 60.

From my experience with the Fred Bear bows they really are a nice bang for the buck.
