Here's a suggestion just because this is what I did. I had mine professionally installed.... And it works flawless. Its an amazing full containment system. So I'd try that before I'd say the rest is junk ect.

I had one a couple years ago . Didn't like it and sold it in the Classifieds .

I've owned 2 QAD rests. Love'em, both. I did have to do some tinkering to get it figured out on my Bowtech General. I kept getting fletching contact. The rest includes 2 different prongs. I had to use the 2nd prong included to get the clearance.

Ive had nothing but problems with this rest. I could not get fletching
clearence no matter what I did. You should buy the higher model at least you
wont have to worry about bounce back like this rest. Good Luck.

The key to setting up this rest is where you attach the cord to the down bus cable (an inch or two makes a big difference). The furthur down you attach it the faster it snaps out of the way. I also cut the little bar off the top of the rest, it is really not needed unless you plan to shoot upside down.
