Default bowhunting tactics during the rut

I was wondering which one of these tactics would work better with low temps and high winds spot and stalk or hunting for a stand or ground blind.

Title threw me for a moment, rut has been over here for almost 2 months...Well depends I guess, I dont think a spot and stalk would work all that great if the deer are chasing. Alabama is a whole lot different than Illinois though, so maybe it would work there???

Every where I have hunted a stand or blind in the right spot is a more productive way to hunt Whitetails than spot and stalk. During peak of the rut a stand or blind in a good funnel is usually hard to beat. Anytime Bucks are carrying hard Antlers they are essentially in rut, although there are many stages of the rut.
