Default 1st compound bow???

I know it was made by Allen, but does anyone have one still or a picture of it? I tried Google but nothing that said that bow was indeed the 1st. Just curious what it looks like....its going to be a LONG off season....hahahaha.

You're right, it will be a long off season, so creatitivity is a must.

All I can say is that bow looks prehistoric! Like it would have been the first compound?

If no one added that, I was going to. Thanks BGfisher. That's a truly interesting site.

The one pictured above says 1975,

This one below (also an Allen) says 72-74 so what is actually the first?

Yep, I remember those bows. I was shooting traditional back then and did Not get bit by the compound until after the 2 wheelers were out in force.

My 1st Compound was a Martin Warthog. The riser and grip on that thing was bigger than a Boat paddle.

Anyone know if those Allen bows are worth money? If they are pretty cheap, I want one. I want to take a Doe with one, I think it would be cool.
