Challenge
Did you meet your challenge for 2009? Well, my challenge changed. I wanted to take a doe in late season, with snow, must be a mature deer, and must be able to place a perfect shot. Well, I changed it to make it more challenging. I have 1 day to do it in and it will be tomorrow. I am going to hunt my tail off. Hope to post my pics tomorrow night or not.

Well, I was not successful in meeting my 1 goal. I had 1 mature doe at 40 yards in the morning but she did not give me the shot that I wanted. Muzzleloader came in at daybreak and letting loose a shot. He left and brought freinds back to search for his deer. The neighbors starting yelling and turned into a circus. Way too many hunters out there on the last day. NO big deal. Got one in the freezer and had a fantastic year.

It would be hard to say I didn't meet my goals. 3 bucks in 2 states with a total of over 410" of Antlers.
I used to kill for numbers, but after Bowhunting for many years it's more about what I kill than how many. I honestly didn't have any room in the freezer for any does this year.
I'll be after some Big Bucks again next year if the Good Lord is willing. I might win or lose next year but for sure the chase will be fun

Best of Luck to you on your P&Y Bear! I'm envious of you being able to hunt Bears in your home state.
Go get'em!!

My 2010 challenge is to continue to shoot almost daily which is hard now because its 30 below outside. Talk about in the field practice. This year I want to become very familiar with the land and possibly take a nice Caribou with my bow. Best of luck to everybody this year
