Default Vane Clearance

It is time to look for new arrows and I am worried about vane clearance, I shoot a Mathews MQ1 with a Quik-Tune microadjust 3000 rest. In order to get my fixed-blade broadheads to fly well I want to use the biggest vanes possible on Beman ICS Hunters with Thunderhead 125' s. What size vane would you recommend, and should I use helical fletching?

Default RE: Vane Clearance

you should be right with 4inch vanes, put as much helical as you can fit without contact with the prongs on your rest, i have good luck with 4inch vanes and fixed blade broadheads...matt http://community.webshots.com/user/mattcss
