Well 121553, here goes. I called him in and shot him at 18 yards. He went about 40 yards and went down. I walked up to him while he was down and took a second shot and he got up and went 35 more yards and went down for good. Both arrows were text book double lung shots and the first one was a passthrough, the second one the broadhead was stopped by the offside leg. It was by far the biggest rush I`ve ever had bowhunting. These animals remind you just how small you are when your sitting on your butt in a clear-cut and he`s walking toward you grunting and swaying his head back and forth. And Spanky if I call you in another bull this year, please DON`T MISS, AGAIN!!!

Quebec still allows any 2 hunters to buy a moose permit but that may change within a few years as local hunters are pressuring those in government.

Oh well I was there for nubs moose and last season we shot a 43" bull

Aaaah JEEEEZ, you guys, I didn' t need to see all those pictures. I' m trying to fight the moose itch and it' s still only June. Seeing those pictures doesn' t help at all.
Nice moose though!

I didn' t get drawn for bow this year so we' ll be headed out with the rifles.
Man, I love moose hunting.
