Default Draw weight

The Draw weigh on my boy right now is 50lbs.....and im getting older and more stronger so i was thinking that i should raise the draw weight, i need to know how much of a difference it will make when i move it from 50 to 55lbs.. i know it will be tougher but will it shoot a lot faster and farther? and will i have to move my pins around a bunch?

Thanks,

I am a fan of fred Bear

Default RE: Draw weight

You should gain about 5 fps in speed. you might need to tweek some longer range pins if at all. You should check the tune though, as any change in weight can effect spine and nocking point height.
