Nice bear, what did it weigh? A few friends and I are working on booking a black bear hunt/fishing trip in Canada for next year.

The reason I'm asking is we have one running around where I live...and its pretty big. 300+ for sure. In the stand I was in yesterday, there were two scat piles within about 10yds of it. I wouldn't shoot one unless it was a big one - but was actually wondering yesterday what the heck I would do with one if I shot it! LOL
I don't know about Virginia but in PA you have to take it to a weight station they ask a few questions,take a tooth,you get a certificate.If its realy big you can call the game commis. and they will help you drag it out.
