This sat., its on.
Ill be headed out to a buddies land to open the season, then back to mine the next week. I built this years hunting bow last spring, and have only got rabbit and hog blood on it. Its time to get some deer blood on it.
Good luck to all that have already begun and those of us that leave the chute this weekend.

Thanks guys. I just hooked up the camper and will be heading out. Camping for 4 days, drinking and talking smack with friends. Im ready. Gawd, I need the break. Hope to have some pics for you guys on Monday.

It ended up being a great time, but rained everyday. Got to hunt
Sat. morning and afternoon in a mild rain. Saw lots of small 6 points and 8 points, but nothing worth shooting. Wanted to take a doe, but didnt see a single one.
Good time was had by all. Now for next weekend at my place.
