simply put...you CANT shoot a bow with a draw length that is too long...all it would do is mess up his form and thats not good with bow season so close...

Not unheard of I am only 5'8" with shoes on and I am a 29" draw length. And yes it is the correct draw length.

Ive used 15 grain washers before to go from 125 to 140 grains. All you have to do is spin test them to tune. If you get a wobble, play with the washer position a bit to get them to spin right. Ive even used teflon tape to help set the head right.

But I echo what has been said. You will have a better luck getting new broad heads. It will save you time tuning them.

Be carefull shooting a bow thats rated for 50-60 lbs and shooting it at 46 lbs.
