I have several sets I use. They are very quick and easy to climb. I usualy use about 1.5 sets to get around 20 feet or so. The only thing I dont care for about them is even once you get them on the tree and set in place they tend to flex and rub the tree just a tad and can make some noise. All in all Ill take them over ladder sticks or screw in steps any day.

I've used them for years until the LAW sticks came about. I how use them on stands I leave out all year. They are noisy with the cam buckles clanging together. I strapped them to the stand for carrying instead of hand carrying Thur the woods. Very fast to install and can stand on top of last ladder with both feet while hanging stand. You do need a straight tree for the most part but you can wrap around the tree if need be, but being what 4' long you need at least that much straight tree area.
