RE: Who showed you proper shooting style?
I learned how to shoot from a person at the pro shop that I went to. I have a kind of mental checklist that I go through when I shoot
1 draw back and anchor with my thumb on the back of my neck
2.turn my forearm out away from the bow and loosen my hand that holds the grip so that only the crock of your hand is holding the bow, the wrist sling is very important.
3. start by aiming your pin at the top of the target and slowly work your way down while squessing the trigger on the realease
4.keep your hand completely loose at the shot, and hold the bow completely still
until the arrow hits the target
good luck shooting

I didnt have anyone to show me when i first started. I used books for the basics and adjusted my form over the years to give me the most consistant accuracy. [:-]

I just started shooting and it developed from there. I watched videos, others and found out I don' t do it a whole lot different than they do so I just left it alone. Sometimes it works.

Davidmil taught me everything I know!

Actually, it started with a lot of trial and error. Learned what really worked over the years and built upon it. I did get professional help a few years ago from Alexander Kirollov, Olympic Coach and PSE Coach. Alexander fine-tuned my form and taught me how to teach others.
