My 7 yr old daughter went hunting for Rio Grands with me last weekend, and insisted on using my slate call. She claimed it looked as if I were just coloring in circles, and she could do the same.
To make a long story short 35 minutes we had 4 jakes, and 2 toms attacking the blind. She did her job now it is my turn. Right???
I missed.
Sorry honey

Definitely more luck, and skill for that matter, than I have had as of late. Hopefully, one day, my son will do the same for me. I can imagine that it will be a deeply personally fulfilling experience.

Thanks guys! I have been watching this forum for a long time, and am proud to be a part of it. My daughter has been hunting with me since she was 3. I don' t know what exactly she did right on the Turkey call but it worked better for her than myself. I guess an ounce of luck is worth its weight in gold.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
