Default Anybody tried earth scent thermacell?

They supposedly came out a couple years ago. I searched all over last year to find some earth scent pads, but had no luck. I was in Bass Pro last week, and lo and behold, I found some. For you Thermacell users who are a little skeptical about deer smelling the normal scent, you may want to give the earth scent pads a try. I'm a die hard Thermacell fan, and am happy to have finally found the earth scent pads. Has anyone here tried them? I haven't tried them yet, but I bought several of them and will be using them this Oct. while bow hunting, that is if the mosquitoes are bad enough. Bass Pro is the only place I've been able to find the Thermacell earth scent pads.

Default Thermacell

Although I am a huge Thermacell fan, I have not tried the earth scented pads. I use it when the bugs are really bad and most of the time I am so glad to have relief that I accept the downwind scent trail.

I have my doubts about the earth pad scent's ability to fool a whitetail's nose.
