Hey Fella' s,

Anyone have any good or bad thoughts on this bow. It is the 2003 model. I bought it a few months ago and have enjoyed it quite well.

Anyone have any experience with this bow?

I have one a couple years older....I love it! Very smooth and fast, not too heavy and got it for a smokin price I couldn' t justify dropping an extra $500.00 for a little less weight.

I called a bow shop twice in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, fixing to buy the 2003 hoyt magnatech wiht cam.5 and xt2000 limbs, for 343$ (no accessories). The bow package would run 469$ but id rather add stuff i want rather than get a package deal.

I was looking to get one for my son, he is left handed and the selection isnt there like it is for right hand, he is 15 and can pull back 70#. I found a left over 2001 hoyt vortec it is brand new with sights and peep and they even threw in a tm hunter rest. although he likes the whisker biscuit. I paid 329 for it and i myself love the bow so much that i just might go buy one to.....
my fried has a magnatec and loves it....

I had a ' 99 model that I was very fond of, but the improvements made since then in terms of the riser, limbs and cam design is significant. In my opinion, the 2003 model could possibly be the best one yet.

I bought my 2003 cam & 1/2 Magna Tec about 2 months ago & can not shoot it enough[8D]!!! Very quiet & smooth shooting. I tried out a Bow Tec Patriot, Mathews Q2XL, & Mathews Legacy Before I made up my mind. My Hoyt Magna Tec shot the smoothest & best out of the rest FOR ME!! (Don' t want anyone thinking I' m bashing the others cause I' m not!!!) Come to think of it the first thing that turned me off to the Bow Tec is when I picked it up to draw it back the handle fell off [][]!! I shot the Super Tec & boy do I wish the wife would have given in on the $700 price tag But I could not convince her [:' (][X(]!!
