For a beginner... I'd suggest a simple 3-pin fixed sight. Sight it in for 20, 30 and 40 and be done with it.

I agree with the post wingchaser lab responded with. That is a great response to your question. I love my HAA single pin sight and having to look at a stack of pins adds a bit of target panicfor me. If I see one pin I just concentrate on the shot and nottrying to make sure I have the right pin.
